First I'd like to begin by saying I am sitting beside Evan watching him sleep while the music from my blog fills the PICU room air. We are awaiting a visit from Evan's Godmother and my BF Angela and it has been a nice, calming day so far. Evan is B-E-Y-O-N-D sedation today, the Dr's agreed to put him into a paralyzed state to allow him comfort and less stress on his lungs so that he will relax and not cause stress to his stitches. This will only be for a few days. Last night he was up to 100% oxygen and by 3am (Yes, I did call then) he was down on his settings to 60%. He is resting nicely now and I am JUST sooooooooooooo tempted to jump up on his crib and smother him with kisses. I will resist and share with you the idea that came to my mind this morning on the drive to the hospital. If you are familiar with the blog called My Charming Kids, Stellan's mommy did a name gallery for him a while back. People would send pictures to her of his name. Be it crayons on the floor that spelled out Stellan or a picture of his name on an index card in front of a favorite location (think Flat Stanley). It is such a great idea, and although I don't have anywhere near the amount of followers she does, it is still a great way to show the support of those of you who have been praying all this time. Spread the word on your blogs and lets see how many Evan name pictures we can get. I will eventually make an Apple photo book of all the photos to share with him one day. Get creative and come back here to see all the pictures sent in. Just email your photo to me at tortoricewolin@yahoo.com. I am so excited to see all the pictures we get.

Don't forget you can enter on my blog and my friend Alyson's blog. Two chances at winning. Plus.....I'm usually full of surprises........ so there may be more than one winner for each of our blogs. {giggling}
You don't even have to wait til the end of the week.......... I want to make a button for Evan today. What did you want it to look like and say? E mail me.
Just sent you the pics Tessa asked me to take for Evan!! ;)
This is sounding more and more like what Tessa went through. When she got sick they paralyzed and sedated her to keep her comfortable and to let her rest. Don't be alarmed if those meds take FOREVER to wear off. It got to the point they thought something else was wrong but it was Tessa taking her dear old time to come out of it!
Praying for Evan, and already thinking of ideas for how to do his name. Maybe I will have me do one, and each of the girls do one! Fun times!
I am glad that Evan is doing better since they have medically paralyzed him, his body needs the rest. ((HUG))
